Note that Douglas Fir is a softwood that is more prone to chipping when sawed. We offer Fir because of its unique hypnotic grain structure, but we can’t guarantee your loudspeakers won’t have minor blemishes. The 'powered' customization transforms Bean into a plug-n-play loudspeaker. This setup includes 250 watts of internal amplification along with an integrated digital signal processor that we fine tune before delivery to unleash Bean’s full sonic potential. Connectivity is via XLR, RCA, or high input phoenix for commercial applications!
The ‘passive’ setup means you’ll be powering Bean with your own amplifier. This setup lets you fine-tune the sound to your liking, whether you want to add warmth with different pre-amps or tweak the equalization to emphasize specific frequencies. With a passive build, you have the freedom to tailor your audio experience.
Either pick from one of our natural oil-based wood tint colours, or chat with us about custom finishes. You will be sent a sample of your colour selection on the type of wood you chose before we apply it to your build. Revisions are charged a small fee.
